‘Rush withheld a secret that had destroyed Blaire’s world. She knows she can never forgive him, but she can’t forget him either… Now, Blaire’s back home in Alabama and is trying to move on with her life … until something happens to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately? You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out.’
After reading Fallen Too Far I immediately went and bought the rest of the entire series of books. As you know I fell madly in love with Rush and Blaire. The first book left me a broken unstable mess. Blaire in order to save herself allowed Rush to think that she had forgiven him and the secrets he hid by sleeping with him, only what she was actually doing was saying a final goodbye. Leaving them both broken but Blaire would always come second to Nan, Rush’s sister, so she had to save herself from being constantly let down by him.
In Never Too Far it’s bloody perfect because we have a chapter of Blaire’s perspective then a chapter of Rush’s perspective. Which is not only amazing but frustrating as it’s so blindingly obvious that the pair of them are so madly in love with each other.
But Blaire won’t settle for being pushed aside every time that Nan clicks her fingers and Rush is furious of the fact he keeps stupidly letting Blaire down for Nan.
Never Too Far picks up three weeks after Fallen Too Far, both Blaire and Rush are beyond miserable without one another. Blaire ran back home and is being put up by Cain, her ex’s grandmother. Cain is determined to win Blaire back, he has never stopped loving her and thinks he is now ready to be what she wants him to be but for Blaire there is only room for one person in her heart.
Blaire soon ends up back at Rosemary Beach with her best friend Bethy and she manages to get her job back at the golf course, making it very clear she is only back to earn enough money to move away for good. Only when Rush finds out she is back he is absolutely determined to win her back for good.
OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS BOOK. Yes ok, so Rush screws up CONSTANTLY and I mean constantly. He is absolutely bloody useless. He adores Blaire so much but Nan keeps digging her claws in and pulling him back. Nan is a total bitch and I don’t think I’ve hated a character so much for such a long time. But even with all his faults I can’t help but absolutely adore Rush, because beyond all the crap he pulls he is a sweet, over caring, loving and utterly adorable guy who has melted me from the inside out.
I quite simply adore Blaire, she cannot control her heart. Most girls would of run a mile from Rush and never want to speak to him again after all that he has done but Blaire sees him, the real him and I can’t help but understand that.
This book upped it’s game and number three, I have high hopes for you, get ready because I’m coming for you.
I devoured this book in one sitting and fell even more in love, if that’s possible. Never Too Far is perfectly written to keep you up at night. It’s sweet, intense steamy and full of drama. There was nothing I didn’t love, other than Nan!
