‘Ness’s parents are shocked when she turns down her place at Leeds university and takes on a full-time job in a call centre. Determined to begin her adult life the way she wants, Ness moves to Leeds to live with her best friend Abby.

One night she meant a Evan, who is everything she hates about guys. He may be hot but he’s also also drunken, arrogant, and on top of that, he apparently has sex with girls and forgets about it. But Evan isn’t what he seems and Ness soon discovers they have more in common than she thought.

Evan is struggling to escape from his past too, and when Lucy appears she threatens his new relationship with Ness. Unsure if she can deal with the effect Lucy has on Evan, Ness makes a decision about her future which pulls them about.

When their new lives don’t go as planned, Ness and Evan are both faced with difficult choices.’

I was sent this by Lisa to review, so thank you so much Lisa I really appreciate it.

This story was really easy to read but hard to actually stop reading! I read it in under two hours because it was good, interesting and kept me guessing. Although I did guess JUST before it was revealed who Lucy actually was. But it didn’t stop me from enjoying it.

The story was told from both Ness and Evan’s point of view, which I really enjoyed, because you got to see how each was feeling. Although it made me want to hit Ness sometimes because she wrongly judges Evan, and I was desperate for her to see how sweet and lovely he really was. (But if she did realise that, I realise there wouldn’t of been much to read about. Haha).

So after a bad start Ness and Evan cannot deny their attraction to one another and finally try to start getting to know each other. But someone is getting in their way. Lucy. As much as Evan is determined not to let Lucy into his new life, Lucy is determined to be a part of his life wether he likes it or not.

Both Ness and Evan are running from things and together they have found someone in which they can be themselves. But will they be able to stay together or will they be torn apart?

A really good story and something I would certainly recommend.
